Kaspocrete Bond URP AG 5270
Kaspocrete Bond URP AG 5270 is a ready-to-use bonding agent based on modified styrene butadiene latex, supplied in liquid consistency. It is used for repairing spalled concrete in floors, columns, beams, chhajjas, and slabs, as well as waterproofing toilets, bathrooms, and small terraces. It bonds strongly to both old and new concrete and plasters, reducing shrinkage and preventing dust pick-up.

Surface Preparation
Clean the surface with a wire brush or scrubber to remove loose particles, laitance, and dust; degrease using suitable solvents. Where breaking is not possible, roughen the surface by light scrabbling or grit blasting. For priming of concrete substrate, thoroughly saturate the surface with potable water and remove any excess before application. Repair spalled concrete by saw-cutting the extreme edges of the repair location to at least 10mm depth to avoid feather edging and ensure a strong bond.
Waterproofing Coating Application
Mix URP and cement in a 1:1.5 ratio by volume, mixing for 2–3 minutes to avoid air entrapment; add cement slowly to the URP. Brush-apply 2 coats of the mix in a span of 4–6 hours on the prepared concrete substrate, then overlay with a protective screed to the desired slope and thickness.
